I came to Vuoi with nothing but a blurry photo of my mum’s lost heirloom ring and a small diamond she once gave me. They treated it with so much care, refining every detail until it became even more beautiful than the original. It’s not just a ring, it’s a memory, reborn. Vuoi reminded me that true luxury lies in meaning, not just materials.

I came to Vuoi Jewellery because I'd lost the heirloom ring from my mother so I wanted to create a replica of it; in addition I wanted to put a small diamond (also a gift from my mother) on the ring top.

I couldn't supply anything helpful to Vuoi in relation to the ring - no measurement, no specifications (never thought I'd lose it just like that); all I could give them was an old photo of the ring under poor lighting and at a pretty low resolution.

At the end of the day, it's just a normal gold ring with one small diamond - and I wasn't even buying the diamond from them. Sure, the ring meant a lot to me, and it has some vintage design to it. But it's still not a big special order worthy of much attention and effort for a jeweller, particularly when the customer couldn't even provide them with the information they need.

But Vuoi did not turn away from it. Their artist worked with me on the design for many drafts, handled all my requests and questions with patience and grace, and took great care and professionalism to refine the design until it looks exactly like the picture I had in my mind.

And when I received the final product, I almost cried. The ring doesn't look identical to what I had, but much, much better. It retains all of the original ring's flair and character, but the material is of a much better quality, and the craftsmanship is a whole different level. It's a simple piece of fine art.

It's very rare for a replica of lost heirloom to feel the same as the original; but thanks to the incredible talents at Vuoi, mine feels not just the same, but better. (Did I mention I lost my original one because the coarse craftsmanship on the inner ring hurts my skin, so I had to take it off from time to time to give my skin a rest?) I haven't taken the new ring off my finger since the day it arrived, because not only it makes me feel I'm wearing my mum's heirloom on me again, it's also extremely comfortable.

And to me, that's what makes Vuoi the top jeweller I can trust - they understand that every piece of jewellery, no matter how small and common, comes with a unique story of love and life held dear to the owner, and so they treat every piece with utmost respect and devotion. And that is a quality very hard to come by in any business in this modern day of heavy consumerism.
